We are aware our Whidbey Island customers are the ones being most impacted by the closure of our brick and mortar shop in Freeland. We are trying to mitigate the impact as much as possible by setting up shipping rates for our island customers and offering a local pick-up option, as well. Details are below.

Shipping Rates for Whidbey Island Destination Addresses

This includes all shipping to Clinton, Langley, Freeland, Greenbank, Coupeville and Oak Harbor. At checkout, please choose "Whidbey Island Address" from the shipping drop down menu.  We pack on Mondays for shipping on Tuesday, and on Thursday for shipping on Friday.

Local Pick-Up of Orders at The Paint Escape in Freeland

Tina Beard, owner of The Paint Escape, has generously offered space for customer orders in her shop.  The Paint Escape, a fun paint your own pottery and glass fusing studio, is located next door and in the same building as our brick and mortar shop was.  Shop hours are quite extensive and even include some evening hours.  Please visit Tina's website to view. 

Orders placed online or by phone, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday by noon, will be delivered to The Paint Escape, Tuesday morning.  Orders placed Monday (by 2:00pm), Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday by 2:00pm, will be delivered to The Paint Escape on Friday morning. Our goal is to deliver by 10:30 am.   

Please pick-up your order promptly, and call us if an emergency should occur.  When you pick-up your order, do take a look around.  The Paint Escape offers a wonderful way to make hand made gifts and have a great time doing so.  No experience is required. As Tina Beard says, "Have fun! Leave your mess, we'll clean up!"   You will find the Island Tea Company staff here from time to time.
